Analyzing... most colors will get two times hotter than white trim. Blue is 50% hotter. I like the wood and the green appearance but they heat up. It is a Solar Oven effect from the pane of glass on the outer door. The visible light gets in but the infra-red gets trapped. Lighter colors will reflect most of the visible light back out. Roof color is only 20% hotter! Plus it matches the brick. It was funny, the roofer kept showing different pallets and Dad chose the one he wanted immediately. He was slowing down but still quicker than your average player, even that last year.
